leb.org has always maintained an apolitical stand, welcoming members from all edges and remaining neutral in face of political events.
But today, it's not about politics. It is war and there's no staying out of it.
Lebanon is under siege:
Regardless of what your political beliefs are, Lebanon is being destroyed at the time you read this. And there is one thing you can do to help cease the fire: you can make your voice heard against the disaster that's being forced upon us.
Scream your indignation and call for a cease-fire.
At a horrible time like this, we need to stand together and react. Only by showing how united we are, will we be able to achieve massive sensibilization and help Lebanese children have a future. Help Lebanon. Support Lebanon.

Israele sta distruggendo il Libano. Non ha il diritto di farlo.
Bambini, donne, civili innocenti stanno morendo sotto gli attacchi israeliani.
Intere famiglie sono cacciate fuori dai loro villaggi.
Ponti, strade, aeroporti, porti, autostrade, centraline elettriche e reti di comunicazione stanno venendo rasati al suolo.
Il paese intero è stato isolato dal resto del mondo.
Noi, i libanesi, siamo tristi, stiamo soffrendo, siamo arrabbiati, siamo determinati e ci mobilitiamo per lavorare insieme per salvare la nostra nazione.
L'iniziativa di Israele è una punizione ingiusta, sproporzionata, collettiva, inflitta sul Libano per motivi sbagliati: quello che succede oggi va oltre la questione
di uno scambio di soldati.
Il Libano è disperato: è un disastro umanitario ed economico.
- Chiediamo un immediato cessate il fuoco con l'appoggio dell'ONU,
- Chiediamo lo stato di sovranità del governo libanese su tutto il suo territorio con la cooperazione dell'ONU,
- Chiediamo il vostro aiuto per fare pressione per fermare gli attachi israeliani.
Aiutateci ad ottenere questo il più presto possibile.
Così il Libano sopravviverà. Il Libano sopravviverà.
