leb.org has always maintained an apolitical stand, welcoming members from all edges and remaining neutral in face of political events.
But today, it's not about politics. It is war and there's no staying out of it.
Lebanon is under siege:
Regardless of what your political beliefs are, Lebanon is being destroyed at the time you read this. And there is one thing you can do to help cease the fire: you can make your voice heard against the disaster that's being forced upon us.
Scream your indignation and call for a cease-fire.
At a horrible time like this, we need to stand together and react. Only by showing how united we are, will we be able to achieve massive sensibilization and help Lebanese children have a future. Help Lebanon. Support Lebanon.

Israël est en train de détruire le Liban. Il n'a aucun droit de faire cela.
Des femmes, des enfants et des civils innocents sont massacrés suite à des attaques israéliennes.
Des familles entières sont contraintes à fuir leur propre village.
Ponts, routes, aéroports, ports, autoroutes, centrales électriques et réseaux de communication sont bombardés et totalement mis hors service.
Tout le pays est désormais coupé du reste du monde.
Nous, Libanais, nous sommes malheureux, nous souffrons, nous sommes outragés, mais nous sommes surtout déterminés et mobilisés afin d'agir et tout mettre en oeuvre pour sauver notre Liban.
Israël inflige au Liban une punition collective, injuste et disproportionnée, et ce, pour de mauvaises raisons:
Ce qui se passe aujourd'hui va bien au-delà d'un simple échange de prisonniers.
Notre pays est désespéré : C'est un désastre humain et économique.
- Nous appelons à un cessez-le-feu immédiat sous l'égide des Nations Unies,
- Nous appelons au rétablissement de la souveraineté du gouvernement libanais sur son propre territoire en coopération avec l'ONU,
- Nous appelons l'opinion publique internationale à exercer une pression sur Israël afin que son offensive cesse.
Aidez-nous à rendre cela possible au plus tôt.
Pour que le Liban survive. Le Liban survivra.
