Zahia Salloum - I am still here now 44 years old a year after my first appeal on this site and still looking for my father. And will continue to do so until the day I die. Thanking you ALWAYS to those who organised this site: I am so grateful. My name is Zahia SALLOUM. I am of mixed background, mother Ghanaian and father Lebanese. This site hopefully is a great opportunity for me to locate my father ABDO TANIOS SALLOUM. My father came from a town, village near Baalbek. He left his home (1960) at the age 17 and came to live and work with his uncle who owned a family bakery (City Supply Bakery, Kumasi/Ghana). I have not had contact since I was 4 years old. He left Ghana 1967-68 returning to Lebanon and rumour has it that his family left Lebanon for Australia. All I know is that my uncle, Joseph Salloum lived in Nigeria and worked for Edward Nasser, Lagos. My grandparents- Zahia Salloum and Abdo Salloum had 9 daughters (1 died) and 3 sons and that my father was the youngest son. Three of my aunties are, Teresa, Antionette, Bridget. My message to my father is that I pray and hope this message gets to you and that your in good health and wish to have contact. I have searched for you for more than 30years and find it so unfair that I have been dragged into yours and my mothers anger. I have never understood why you named me after your mother and then walked out of my life. I want you to know that you have 5 grandaughters and 1 great grandaughter. Father, if your reading this message please, please dont be afraid to contact me I would love to hear from you. I need to have that missing link. Please dont hesistate contact me on my email. If theres anyone on this site that has any information please, please do not hesitate to contact me on my email.
